CLAIR OBSCUR: EXPEDITION 33

Ben Starr voices Verso in the brand-new video game Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which sold 1 million copies in just 3 days. Amongst the glowing praise Clair Obscur has received is Empire's 5 star review naming it ‘an instant classic,’ as well as French President Macron calling it ‘one of the best rated games in history.’

Forbes has hailed it ‘a work of art’ and describes Ben as a ‘legend,’ and GamesRadar has also stated that 'there is nothing [Ben] can't do.' Clair Obscur has been available to buy for just over two weeks.

 

BRITISH BOOK AWARDS FINALISTS

Congratulations to George Orwell’s classic novel 1984 narrated by Chukwudi Iwuji, Alex Lawther and Yasmin Mwanza, and Matt Haig’s Sunday Times Bestseller The Life Impossible narrated by Joanna Lumley - both of which have been shortlisted for Fiction Audiobook of the Year at the British Book Awards 2025!

The 35th annual Nibbies awards ceremony is being held in London on Monday 12th May. 

 

THE ARIAS FINALISTS

CHUKWUDI IWUJI, ALEX LAWTHER & YASMIN MWANZA

The 1984 audiobook narrated by Chukwudi Iwuji, Alex Lawther and Yasmin Mwanza has received yet another nomination, this time in the Best Drama or Fiction Award category at this year’s Audio and Radio Industry Awards.

The annual ARIAs awards ceremony will be held in London on Wednesday 14th May. 

 

THE FIFTH STEP

JACK LOWDEN

After its sold-out Edinburgh run last year, The Fifth Step returns, this time to the Soho Place Theatre in London. A provocative and entertaining production intimately set in-the-round, the play stars Olivier Award-winner Jack Lowden who is reprising his role as Luka, a recovering alcoholic partaking in the 12-step programme of Alcoholics Anonymous. 

The Fifth Step opens 12th May and will run until 26th July.

 

THE GANG OF THREE

After Labour Prime Minister Harold Wilson's shock resignation, three feuding cabinet giants - Roy Jenkins, Denis Healey and Tony Crosland - meet to discuss who will succeed him. Alan Cox stars in The Gang of Three as Tony Crosland at the King's Head Theatre, a riveting new drama about broken friendships and political rivalries set in 1976.

The Gang of Three opens 7th May and will run until 1st June.
