We are thrilled to welcome EMER KENNY to the Bespoke books. Emer is currently starring as the female lead in Channel 4’s new comedy crime series THE CURSE, alongside the cast of People Just Do Nothing and comedian Tom Davis.
THE CURSE is set in 1980s East London, and follows Tash (Emer), who runs a café with her timid husband Albert. The couple is facing hard times after the recession and are desperate for change, so they turn to Albert’s bumbling group of friends to plan a warehouse heist and make a small fortune.
Emer is best known as series regular Bunty in the BBC’s FATHER BROWN, and as troublemaker Zsa Zsa Carter in EASTENDERS.
With a naturally soft London accent and both Welsh and Irish parentage, Emer’s voice is very versatile with a warm, approachable appeal. She has an effortlessly husky and relaxed tone making her a perfect commercial voice. You can listen to her voice reels here.
