With only one week to go until it’s back on our screens, the highly anticipated new season of HBO’s Succession is finally upon us!
The new series is set to release on the 26th March - and with all the drama and family battles soon on the horizon, Bespoke’s BRIAN COX steps back into his role family patriarch, Logan Roy. Written by Jesse Armstrong, the show follows the Roy family, owners and members of global media conglomerate Waystar RoyCo, and their endless battle for power when the health of mogul father Logan falls into uncertainty and the future of their empire going with it. This season is the last in the Succession saga and will tie the show to a final close.

Succession has received widespread critical acclaim since its first release in 2018 and has won several awards and nominations including the British Academy Television Award for Best International Programme, a Golden Globe for Best Television Series and a Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Drama series in 2020 and 2022.
In 2020, Brian Cox also won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television series (drama) for his role as Logan as well as Emmy nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series both in 2020 and 2022.

Brian has worked on many outstanding projects. As well as Succession, Brian is well known for his roles in Hidden Agenda, Braveheart, The Boxer, Rushmore, and many others including Churchill where he played the titular role. Most recently, he starred as Nicholas Booker in the feature film The Independent, and is set to appear in Tom Kirkby’s The Glove which shoots later this year.
A prolific stage actor, Brian has previously won two Olivier awards for Best Actor in Titus Andronicus and Rat In The Skull with further theatre credits including King Lear at The National Theatre, The Music Man, Art, and Uncle Varick.
As a voice artist, Brian holds a highly distinguished voice that’s powerful, warm, and recognisable. Vocally, he has lent his voice to depict a variety of roles including ‘Fagan’ in the Oliver Twist audiobook for the recent Christmas release for Audible, ‘Death’ in Good Omens, and ‘Conrad’ in Bob The Builder - his voice is a hard one to miss.
