The long-anticipated movie spin-off of the televisual phenomenon had its global première in London's Leicester Square on Monday night!

It is now 1927 and the family and staff of Downton Abbey are preparing themselves for a royal visit from King George V and Queen Mary.

The familiar cast of favourites makes a welcome return (including Imelda Staunton as Lady Bagshaw, Jim Carter as Mr Carson and Michael Fox as Andy), along with some new additions (Tuppence Middleton as Lucy Smith).

In cinemas in the UK from tomorrow (Friday 13th September).
