Punchdrunk’s Viola’s Room

Helena Bonham Carter

 

Punchdrunk has unveiled their brand new immersive show: Viola’s Room. Where groups of six explore an audio-driven journey in which an unseen narrator tells a story of ‘innocence lost and obsession unleashed’.

Recognised globally for her versatility, Helena holds a wide range of vocal capabilities showcased in the electric Bellatrix Lestrange, the eloquent Princess Margaret, the dangerous Mrs Lovett and many, many more. Helena sparks life into any character with such a distinguishable and energetic voice.

Her musical triumphs can also be seen in Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, Les Misérables and Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street which have hailed her multiple nominations and awards over her extensive career.

Bridgerton

Bessier Carter & Victor Alli

 

The hit Netflix series is back for more with Bessie Carter reprising  her role as Prudence Featherington and Victor Alli as John Stirling, a new character in the series. Part 1 hits the streaming service on the 16th May with Part 2 following shortly on the 13th June so get ready for dresses, dancing, and of course – dating.

Bessie Carter

A versatile character actor, Bessie’s work can be seen in her recent roles as Prudence Featherington in Bridgerton, Poppy in I Hate Suzie, and Violet in Beecham House.

Vocally, Bessie has worked on Total War: Warhammer III and showcases her musical ability in Les Misérables. She has a rich, clear voice with a great deal of range and emotion in her read – as well as RP, her American accent makes her a great pick for character variation.

Victor Alli

With a warmth in his voice, Victor's baritone gives him a naturally rich read.

Previously seen on screen in Last Light as Owen Jones and Danny Holland in The Man Who Fell to Earth, Victor has also lent his voice to video game Zenoblade Chronicles 3, Audible’s Inseparable and HBO’s Unicorn: Warriors Eternal. Able to perform multiple accents including London, African and American, Victor is a great choice for a wide range of character reads.

Benedict Cumberbatch and Clarke Peters

 

Netflix’s new drama, Eric, sees Benedict Cumberbatch star as Vincent, a leading puppeteer in New York whose life unravels when his 9-year old son goes missing. Set in the heart of 80s New York, the Limited Series also features Bespoke’s Clarke Peters.

Benedict Cumberbatch

Globally recognised as the heroic Doctor Strange and the captivating Sherlock Holmes, Benedict Cumberbatch is a household, international name of note.

In voice, Benedict has recently narrated Disney’s Super/Natural documentary series and is recognisable as as the voices of The Grinch, Shere Khan in Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, the deadly Smaug in The Hobbit franchise.

Clarke Peters

Rich and resonant, Clarke has recently starred in Truelove, I Wanna Dance with Somebody as John Houston, The Man Who Fell to Earth and Foundation which add to his extensive list of credits.

With a deep, American voice, Clarke has been a part of numerous voice projects, narrating Aretha Franklin: Respect, Count Bassie: Through His Own Eyes, Roy Orbison: One of the Lonely Ones and podcast series Marvel’s Wastelanders.

Emily Carey

 

Based on Holly Smale’s brilliant book, comes a new series adaptation of Geek Girl starring Emily Carey as lead, Harriet, an awkward teenager who finds that everything changes when she is scouted by a top modelling agency.

Emily Carey

As seen in HBO’s House of the Dragon, Emily grants a playful take to her vocal delivery which has landed her the lead roles in animations: Where Is Anne Frank and Monster Family 2.

Emily has also starred on stage in various musical theatre productions including Shrek – The Musical and as Marta Von Trapp in The Sound of Music at the Regents Open Air Theatre in London. With a versatile playing range that makes her a great pick for a variety of ages, Emily holds a youthful spirit that’s playful and fun and makes any character come alive

Will Close

 

We also wanted to take this opportunity to congratulate the recent nominations and award wins from a number of our clients, with a massive congratulations to WILL CLOSE who won an Olivier award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his portrayal of Harry Kane in Dear England.

 

A talented comedic actor, his hit comedy show, Great British Mysteries, has enjoyed multiple sold-out runs at both the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the Soho Theatre, and his one man play Mediocre White Male was recently adapted for BBC Radio 4. Will featured in the ITV sitcom Buffering alongside Iain Sterling, and in Sketchorama for BBC Radio 4.

Will's down-to-earth and relatable tone, combined with impeccable comedic timing, sets him apart as a standout talent.
