Biography

Noma Dumezweni is a versatile performer known for her captivating presence on both screen and stage. Recently, she has starred alongside Liam Neeson in the gripping action thriller THE RETRIBUTION and played Queen Selina in Disney's live-action remake of THE LITTLE MERMAID.

In television, Noma appeared in HBO's acclaimed series THE UNDOING as well as the popular Disney+ series ONLY MURDERS IN THE BUILDING alongside Apple TV's PRESUMED INNOCENT and Netflix’s THE WATCHER. Dumezweni's theatrical prowess is equally impressive, having earned an Olivier award for her portrayal of Hermione in the West End production of HARRY POTTER & THE CURSED CHILD.

Her distinctive voice has also left its mark through a range of audiobooks, including LETTERS OF NOTE, THE TALES OF BEEDLE THE BARD, and WIDOW BASQUIAT. Noma has also lent her voice to documentaries such as FORGIVING APARTHEID and nature documentary. SOUL OF THE OCEAN.
