The new five-part drama series THE NORTH WATER starts 10th September 2021 on BBC 2 at 9:30pm. JACK O'CONNELL plays Patrick Sumner, who signs up as a whaling ship's doctor to escape the horrors of his past and find redemption.

O'CONNELL gave critically acclaimed performances in the independent films STARRED UP, '71, and subsequently starred as war hero Louis Zamperini in the war film UNBROKEN, for which he received the BAFTA Rising Star Award. He has since starred in the thriller MONEY MONSTER and the Netflix western limited series GODLESS.
 
JACK’s voice has a real down-to-earth, relatable appeal. Hailing proudly from Derby, his voice has a very current, casual edge with effortless confidence, making him a stand-out choice for voiceovers. He has recently lent his voice to one of the important NHS Careers campaigns over the pandemic.
