Another exciting release this week is the new drama series The Gold, starring Jack Lowden. The series is based on a true story from the 1980s, following a group of 6 armed men who steal £26million worth of gold from the Brink’s-Mat security depot and how they try to dispose of the bullion.

 

Jack Lowden stars as one of the 6 robbers, having previously starred in Apple’s hit series Slow Horses, Terence Davies’ Benediction, Nolan’s Dunkirk, and feature film Kindred which marked his debut as a producer. As a voice artist, Jack has a rich Scottish accent with low, gravelly tones – a versatile actor with a wide accent repertoire, he is an easy casting for a likeable character with a great deal of charm. Also starring in this hight anticipated series are further Bespoke artists Peter Davison (The iconic Fifth Doctor and recent star in Gentleman Jack), Paul Thornley (The Crown, Les Misérables), David Horovitch (House of the Dragon, The Creeping) and Simon Chandler (House of the Dragon, The Crown).
